ADC Appoints Oyegun, Utomi, Amadi to Manifesto Committee for Policy Framework Development

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) has established a 50-member "Manifesto Committee" chaired by former Edo State Governor John Odigie Oyegun, with Pat Utomi as the deputy chairman and Salihu Lukman as the secretary. The committee, approved by the party's National Working Committee (NWC) led by Senator David Mark, aims to build a credible policy framework for the party.

Comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds, including former public office holders, academics, technocrats, policy experts, civil society leaders, and professionals, the committee will focus on developing a forward-looking policy framework for national governance. The committee was formally inaugurated on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja.

The goal is to provide responsible leadership and present the ADC as a serious alternative platform with a focus on people-centered policies and democratic reforms.
