NUC Approves 13 New Courses for Nigerian Universities to Enhance Academic Standards

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 13 new courses for Nigerian universities to improve academic standards and global competitiveness. The courses include B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence, B.Ed. in Christian Education, and B.Eng. in Nuclear Engineering.

NUC emphasizes the need for universities to align with global trends and develop expertise in the Nigerian educational system. The new programs are expected to be implemented starting from the 2025-2026 academic session.
