Tinubu Appoints New CAC Chairman and Special Adviser

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant appointments, including Dr. Ibrahim Ida as the Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

This decision was announced in a statement by Tinubu's Special Adviser on Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. Dr.

Ida holds an MSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan (1983) and an LLB from the University of Abuja (2003). He was elected to the Senate in 2017, representing Katsina Central.

Additionally, Tinubu nominated seven individuals to fill vacant positions in the National Population Commission (NPC), representing various states: Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi (Ekiti), Nasiru Muazu (Zamfara), Usman Abubakar Tuggar (Bauchi), Dr. Isaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara), Prof.

Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina), Suleiman Umar (Jigawa), and Hon. Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto).

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the National Assembly. Furthermore, Dr.

Yusuf Mohammed has been confirmed as the Chairman of the Federal Polytechnic Kaltungo, and Bala Mohammed Bello has been appointed as a Special Adviser on Political Economy. Bello holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and previously served as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
