Tinubu Appoints New CAC Chairman and NPC Commissioners

President Bola Tinubu has made significant appointments within federal agencies, naming Ibrahim Ida as the new Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). This decision was announced in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the President's Special Adviser on Strategic Communication, on Monday.

Ida, who has a background in finance and public administration, previously served as a senator representing Katsina Central and has extensive experience in federal civil service. Alongside Ida's appointment, Tinubu nominated seven individuals to fill vacant positions at the National Population Commission (NPC), pending confirmation by the National Assembly.

The nominees include Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi from Ekiti State, Nasiru Muazu from Zamfara State, Usman Abubakar Tuggar from Bauchi State, Dr. Isaka Alada Yahaya from Kwara State, Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda from Katsina State, Suleiman Umar from Jigawa State, and Hon. Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo from Sokoto State. These appointments are part of Tinubu's strategy to strengthen government structures across critical institutions.
