According to a post from Forbes’ X handle, a new ranking identifies the top 10 richest immigrant billionaires in America, highlighting the significant role of foreign-born entrepreneurs in the U.S. economy. The list features 144 immigrant billionaires with a combined wealth of $2.2 trillion.

Elon Musk, born in South Africa, tops the list with an estimated fortune of $927 billion from his companies Tesla and SpaceX. Sergey Brin, born in Russia and cofounder of Google, ranks second with $272 billion, while Taiwan-born Jensen Huang, cofounder and CEO of Nvidia, is third with $176 billion.

Other notable billionaires include Thomas Peterffy from Hungary, Miriam Adelson from Israel, and David Sun from Taiwan.
