Funke Akindele Unveils New Film 'The Four' for December Release

Funke Akindele, an award-winning filmmaker, actress, and producer, has announced her next feature film titled ‘The Four: No One Fights Alone,’ which is scheduled for a global cinema release on December 11. The film is produced by Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV) and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment.

Set in the Odu Community and a vibrant city, the film follows Esosa and three loyal women as they fight for the future of a young man they love, testing their courage and loyalty. The film showcases Nigeria’s cultural identity through music, fashion, language, and breathtaking cinematography.

It features an accomplished ensemble cast, including Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, and others. Akindele stated that the film explores relationships that shape and challenge individuals.

She has previously directed and produced record-breaking films, solidifying her status as Nigeria’s highest-grossing filmmaker.
