Funke Akindele Releases Soundtrack for "The Four"

Funke Akindele has collaborated with artists Waje, Bisola, and Chioma on a new soundtrack titled "Ore mi" for her upcoming film "The Four." The track incorporates a blend of English, Igbo, and Yoruba languages, reflecting the movie's central theme of friendship, love, and the bonds shared among close friends. Akindele announced the song's release on major streaming platforms, expressing her excitement for the project.

This collaboration is not her first venture into combining filmmaking with music; in 2024, she worked with singers Falz, D’banj, and other cast members on the soundtrack for "Everybody Loves Christmas," which was released alongside her movie and became a popular Nigerian Christmas sound. The anticipation for "The Four" has increased with the release of "Ore mi," as fans are eager to see how the song integrates into the film's narrative upon its release.
