Galatasaray Coach Buruk Comments on Osimhen's Injury

Okan Buruk, the head coach of Galatasaray, addressed the media regarding Victor Osimhen's injury situation following his team's narrow 1-0 victory over Kocaelispor in the Turkish Super League on matchday five. Osimhen had to leave the field during the first half of Galatasaray's previous match, a 3-2 win against Istanbul Basaksehir, and subsequently missed a 3-1 defeat to Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.

In Osimhen's absence, Buruk opted for young forward Deniz Gul to step into the attacking role. The match was decided by a goal from captain Abdulkerim Badarkci in the second half, securing all three points for Galatasaray, who had only managed one point against Kocaelispor in the previous season.

Buruk praised Gul's performance despite a disallowed goal. Galatasaray's next match is against Trabzonspor, with uncertainty surrounding Osimhen's potential return.
