Galatasaray President Dismisses Salary Claims on Osimhen

Dursun Zbek, the president of Galatasaray, responded to reports from a Turkish media outlet claiming that the club owed salaries to its players, including Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. Zbek dismissed these allegations as false, emphasizing that Galatasaray meets its financial obligations to players.

He clarified that the club has not defaulted on any payments, stating that it pays bonuses and incentives as per the players' contracts. Zbek highlighted that Galatasaray is an elite team that would not allow players to go unpaid for two to three months.

His comments come amid increased scrutiny of the club's financial situation, which has raised concerns within the Turkish Super Lig.
