Ganduje Makes First Post-Resignation Move, Vows to Reclaim Kano in 2027 Election

Former Kano State Governor Ganduje made his first political move after resigning, attending a Kano APC stakeholder meeting in Abuja. The gathering aimed to strengthen the party structure for the 2027 general election.

Ganduje urged members to mobilize for the voter registration exercise, with Deputy Senate President Barau expressing support for President Tinubu. Ganduje pledged to reclaim Kano State from the NNPP in 2027.

The NNPP currently controls Kano State. Ganduje resigned as APC National Chairman on June 27, citing personal reasons.

He thanked President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve at the highest level.
