Ganduje and Wife's Trial Stalled Over Failure to File Court Applications

The trial of former Kano State Governor Ganduje and his wife, along with others, has been delayed at the Kano State High Court due to the failure to file pending court applications. The charges against them include bribery, conspiracy, and misappropriation of public funds amounting to billions of naira.

The prosecution is ready to proceed, but the defense has filed various motions seeking adjournments and new hearing dates. The presiding judge has directed all parties to ensure proper filing and service of pending motions for the next court session scheduled for November 26, 2025.
