ValueJet and Gateway Air Launch Abuja–Lagos Service

ValueJet has partnered with Gateway Air, the official state-owned airline of Ogun State, to initiate a daily service connecting Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to Gateway International Airport in Iperu, Ogun State, via Lagos. This service aims to provide a seamless link between Nigeria’s political capital and Ogun State’s commercial and industrial corridor, facilitating efficient travel for business meetings, industrial site visits, and personal engagements.

Omololu Majekodunmi, Managing Director of ValueJet, stated that the early morning departure caters to passengers with demanding schedules. Olugbenga Dairo, Commissioner for Transportation, emphasized that the service addresses the growing demand for air connectivity in Ogun State.

Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor, has directed the airline to continually optimize its schedule and fleet size based on traveler needs. The operation of this route supports ValueJet’s strategy of enhancing air connectivity and aligns with Ogun State's economic development goals.
