GehGeh's Wedding Sparks Debate Over Marriage Views

Emmanuel Obruste, popularly known as GehGeh, is a Nigerian content creator who has built a significant online following by criticizing marriage as financially burdensome. Over the weekend, videos surfaced showing him at what appeared to be a traditional wedding ceremony, leading to widespread speculation among his followers.

The clips featured GehGeh in a burgundy agbada alongside a woman in matching attire, identified as Mary, with the ceremony scheduled for July 26. The videos included a traditional first-feeding rite, further suggesting a wedding.

Followers, who had previously engaged with GehGeh's philosophy of prioritizing financial independence over marriage, expressed confusion and disappointment, questioning whether he had abandoned his views. GehGeh's cryptic caption, “So I no fit represent my brother wey dey abroad?” only fueled further debate.
