GehGeh Addresses Controversy Over Viral Wedding Videos

Emmanuel Prosper Obruste, known as GehGeh, responded to widespread debate following viral videos that appeared to show him at a traditional wedding in Niger State. The clips, which surfaced on Saturday, depicted GehGeh in traditional attire with a woman believed to be his bride, leading to mixed reactions on social media regarding the authenticity of the event.

Critics accused him of contradicting his previous commentary on relationships, particularly his warnings about financial risks associated with marriage. In response, GehGeh took to his verified X account, denying he ever advised against marriage and challenging critics to provide evidence of such claims.

He also referenced a recent statement where he jokingly suggested that if he were to marry, it would be due to a woman using “juju” on him. Despite the videos' circulation, GehGeh has not confirmed whether the ceremony was his wedding or revealed the woman's identity.
