George Ilenikhena's Salary Revealed Ahead of Super Eagles Call-Up

George Ilenikhena, a 20-year-old striker currently playing for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, is nearing his first call-up to the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles. Ilenikhena, who grew up in Lagos, moved to Europe in 2021, spending time in France and Belgium before joining Al-Ittihad from Monaco in February 2026.

His performance this season has been notable, scoring six goals in seven appearances across all competitions. According to reports, Ilenikhena earns a base salary of €6.1 million per year, with an additional bonus package of approximately €1.5 million, totaling €7.65 million annually, which translates to about €147,115 weekly or ₦266 million.

His potential call-up is facilitated by injury issues affecting strikers ahead of him, including Paul Onuachu. If the call-up occurs, it would be a significant milestone for Ilenikhena, who has also hinted at his selection through social media.
