Lagos State Launches "Skill Earn Money" Program to Empower Youths with Vocational Training

Lagos State, in collaboration with the Ishk Tolaram Foundation, has introduced a new vocational training program titled "Skill Earn Money" to equip young residents with practical skills and industrial experience. The initiative, under the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, targets unemployed youths aged 18-35 across the state.

The structured six-month program includes three months of intensive vocational training followed by a three-month paid internship to provide valuable exposure to real work environments. Training will cover high-demand vocational fields such as fashion design, solar installation, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
