Ghana Deports 42 Nigerians Over Prostitution and Fraud Allegations

Ghana deported 42 Nigerians, along with nationals from other African countries, including Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Benin, from the Ashanti Region for offenses such as prostitution and fraud. The deportations were carried out in accordance with court orders involving multiple cases.

The Ashanti Region Minister, Frank Amoakohen, praised the Ghana Immigration Service for their role in law enforcement and ensuring public safety. This action comes amidst increased scrutiny of Nigerians abroad, particularly in relation to organized crime and financial fraud.
