Girei Unveils Vision for Unity and Prosperity in Adamawa

Dr. Salihu Bakari Girei, a governorship aspirant from the Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, presented his vision focused on unity and prosperity during an event in Abuja.

He plans to submit his nomination form shortly and aims to implement policies that promote inclusivity, growth, and poverty reduction. Girei highlighted the paradox of abundant human and natural resources in Adamawa, where poverty remains pervasive.

He stressed the importance of equipping the youth, who constitute 60% of the population, with practical skills to foster self-reliance amid shrinking public sector opportunities. Girei also committed to improving access to free healthcare services, particularly for women and children in rural communities.

He identified agriculture as a critical sector, noting that despite Adamawa's agrarian potential, farmers earn less due to imbalances in the agricultural value chain. Girei expressed confidence in the electoral process under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and advocated for reforms to ensure transparency and fair competition within the party.
