Globacom Celebrates 23rd Anniversary with Fitfest 2026

On the exact date of its 23rd anniversary, Globacom hosted the “Glo Fitfest 2026” sports day at The Stable in Surulere, Lagos. Employees participated in various games, including table tennis, giant Ludo, snooker, beer pong, sack races, and Ayo, with the football tournament being the highlight.

Departments formed teams, with the “Glo Rocket” team, consisting of members from the Sales and Value Added Services departments, winning the tournament against “Strikers FC,” a team from Rollout, Information Systems, Gloworld Development, and E-Pin departments. Glo Rocket received a trophy and a grand prize of N1 million, while Strikers FC earned N750,000 as runners-up.

All players were awarded medals, and individual winners from other games also received cash prizes and medals. The event served as a cultural milestone, enhancing team spirit and unity among employees, concluding with a festive atmosphere of music and dancing.
