Trump Urges Allies to Secure Their Own Oil Amid Tensions

Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, made remarks on his Truth Social platform urging allied nations to "go get your own oil" in light of rising tensions in the Gulf region. He criticized countries that refuse to support U.S. military actions against Iran, emphasizing that the United States would no longer intervene on their behalf.

Trump's comments came as the average retail price of petrol in the U.S. surpassed $4 per gallon for the first time in three years, coinciding with disruptions in oil supply routes due to escalating conflicts in the region. He noted that Iran has been significantly weakened following recent attacks, including one that set ablaze a large Kuwaiti oil tanker off the coast of Dubai.

Fortunately, city officials reported that the fire was extinguished without causing environmental damage or injuries.
