GOC Babalola Urges Students to Make Responsible Choices

During the 2025/2026 Valedictory Service and Prize-Giving Ceremony at TA Lagbaja Cantonment, Ikeja, Maj.- Gen Adebayo Abdulrahman Babalola, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division, Nigerian Army, encouraged graduating students of Command Day Secondary School to make responsible decisions that will positively influence their futures and contribute to national development. Owolabi, the GOC spoke on the theme “Making Responsible Choices in a Changing World,” advising the graduates to embrace wisdom, integrity, and self-discipline as they transition to higher education and adulthood. He highlighted the importance of discipline, patriotism, and responsible leadership, stating that lasting success is rooted in perseverance and good character.

Akindele, the school commandant, noted the academic session's remarkable achievements, including the school being named Overall Best at the 2026 81 Division Inter-Command Secondary Schools Sports Competition.
