Gombe Governor Yahaya Promises Enhanced Security Measures

During a traditional Sallah homage marking Eid el-Fitr at the Government House, Gombe Governor Yahaya assured improved security measures aimed at sustaining peace and stability across the state. He noted that security remains a critical development issue and urged residents to uphold unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, particularly demonstrated during the Ramadan period.

Governor Yahaya expressed gratitude to Emir Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III for his continuous support and guidance, describing the relationship between his administration and traditional institutions as vital for the success achieved thus far. He highlighted that the Emir's support has significantly contributed to peace and development in Gombe State.

Over the past seven years, the Yahaya administration has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth, achieving notable advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and economic reform. The Emir commended the Governor's leadership and development strides across various sectors, noting that he has fulfilled or even surpassed promises made to the people at the start of his administration.
