Gombe PDP Rep Hon. El Rashe Defects to APC

Hon. El Rashe, the representative for the Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency, announced his defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a visit to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at the Gombe State Liaison Office in Abuja. The announcement was made public through a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, the spokesman for Governor Yahaya.

During the visit, Hon. El Rashe formally received his APC membership card, which he obtained as part of the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise. He attributed his decision to join the APC to the progress and leadership of Governor Yahaya, highlighting the people-oriented policies and visible developmental strides across Gombe State.

Bala Kelli, a member of the APC, described the party's platform as better positioned to deliver sustainable development and good governance. Governor Yahaya warmly welcomed Hon. El Rashe, commending his courage and conviction, and urged collaboration among party stakeholders to advance the development agenda for the benefit of the people of Gombe State.
