Gombe State Secures NUC License for Lincoln University Malaysia's Kumo Campus

Gombe State has secured an operational license from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish Lincoln University Malaysia's Kumo Campus. The license was received by the Deputy Governor, Manassah Daniel Jatau, at the NUC headquarters in Abuja.

The aim of this public-private partnership initiative is to enhance collaboration between the government and private institutions to deliver quality education and sustainable infrastructure development. The initiative was praised by Jatau, who emphasized Gombe State's ambition to become an educational hub in the North East region of Nigeria.

The Lincoln University Kumo Campus will prioritize community-based research to address socio-economic challenges in the region. The campus has received approval to launch faculties in Medicine, Health Sciences, Science, Computer, Management, and Social Sciences.
