Google Launches ₦3 Billion Fund for AI Skills and Digital Safety in Nigeria

Google.org has unveiled a ₦3 billion fund to accelerate Nigeria's digital transformation by enhancing AI skills, innovation, and digital safety. The initiative aims to strengthen Nigeria's position in the global AI landscape and support the country's national AI strategy.

The fund will focus on building top-tier AI talent, advancing AI curricula, and promoting cybersecurity. Key partners include the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences, African Technology Forum, Junior Achievement Africa, and Cybersafe Foundation.
