GOtv Nigeria Packages Ranked: What Each Tier Costs and Offers

MultiChoice's GOtv platform offers six subscription tiers in Nigeria, ranging from ₦3,900 to premium pricing, each tailored to different viewer preferences…

GOtv Nigeria, the pay-television service operated by MultiChoice since 2011, currently operates six subscription packages designed to serve viewers with varying content preferences and spending capacity. The platform has structured its offerings to help subscribers avoid overpaying for channels they do not watch or missing sports and entertainment content they want.

At the entry level, GOtv Jinja costs ₦3,900 monthly. Moving up, GOtv Jolli occupies the mid-range at ₦5,800 per month and targets urban and semi-urban families seeking a balance between affordability and channel variety.

GOtv Max sits at ₦8,500 monthly and offers over 60 channels including six sports channels. The Supa package reaches ₦16,800 per month and delivers 87 channels with significant sports programming, including UEFA Champions League coverage.

At the top sits GOtv Supa Plus, launched on 1 August 2023, which provides the most extensive sports lineup with dedicated SuperSport channels carrying major football league matches such as La Liga. The Supa and Supa Plus packages represent the point where GOtv transitions from basic television to premium sports viewing.

Supa focuses primarily on football, wrestling, and international programming and sits between Max and Supa Plus in the hierarchy. Supa Plus stands at the premium tier and justifies its higher cost through expanded sports offerings branded as the 'World of Champions,' giving subscribers access to channels unavailable on lower tiers.

Subscribers can recharge through multiple methods, and the platform allows upgrades between tiers. The specific monthly prices and channel counts vary slightly by market location within Nigeria and across GOtv's eight operational countries, which include Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, and Mozambique.

The Jolli package at ₦5,800 sits directly between Jinja and Max, creating clear tier separation that allows households to select based on viewing habits rather than arbitrary pricing gaps.
