Kwara State Governor Orders Support for Terror Victims in Kaiama and Woro

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq visited Kaiama and Woro following a terrorist attack, directing the State Emergency Management Agency to provide support to the victims. The attack resulted in the loss of at least 75 lives in the Muslim-majority villages.

Governor AbdulRazaq commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the immediate deployment of soldiers under Operation Savannah Shield to the area. The Governor also expressed gratitude to security agencies for their efforts and assured that the state emergency services would assist affected families.

The Emir of Kaiama, Muazu Sheu Omar, and community leaders appreciated the Governor's swift response and support. The attack was condemned for its extremist ideology, with the victims rejecting such doctrines.

Governor AbdulRazaq emphasized the need for security measures to address the challenges faced in Kwara South.
