Kwara Governor Confirms 75 Deaths in Terrorist Attack, 70 Victims Buried

Kwara State Governor AbdulRazaq confirmed a terrorist attack in Woro Nuku community, Kaiama, resulting in 75 fatalities. The attack occurred on Tuesday, with 70 victims receiving a mass burial.

Governor AbdulRazaq visited the affected community, accompanied by security agencies, to offer condolences and support. The Chairman of Kaiama Local Government Area, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi, oversaw the mass burial.

Survivors shared chilling experiences, including killings and abductions by the bandits. The government is collaborating with security outfits like Oper Shield Savannah to enhance safety and protect residents in the region.

Efforts are ongoing to ensure the security of lives and properties in the area.
