PRP Candidate Saliu Confident in Adeleke's Leadership

Dr. Oyelami Saliu, the gubernatorial candidate for the People's Redemption Party (PRP) in Osun State, stated that he believes Governor Ademola Adeleke will survive to hand over power after the upcoming elections scheduled for August 15, 2026.

Saliu made these remarks during the 10th edition of the media parley organized by Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) on Friday. He cautioned against any wishes for the governor's demise, asserting that Adeleke will remain alive to fulfill his term and hand over power following the elections.

Saliu acknowledged the efforts made by Governor Adeleke during his tenure but argued that the achievements have not sufficiently met the aspirations of the people of Osun State. He emphasized the need for a different approach to governance and expressed confidence that the PRP could provide the necessary leadership to advance the state.

Saliu also discussed ongoing projects, including two airport developments, and pledged to sustain beneficial initiatives from the current administration.
