Benue Governor Donates N380m to Families of Slain Security Officers - Honoring Sacrifice for Peace

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has donated a total of N380 million to the families of 76 security personnel who lost their lives while serving the state. Each family received N5 million as a gesture of appreciation for the sacrifices made by the deceased officers.

Governor Alia praised the security forces for their dedication to restoring peace in the state and acknowledged the support from the Police, Military, and Civil Defence. The donation aims to provide financial assistance to the families of the fallen heroes and ensure that their children receive education scholarships to honor their service and sacrifice.
