Benue Governor Alia Donates N5m to Families of Slain Security Personnel

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia expressed grief over the killing of 76 security personnel in the state within a year. He pledged N5 million to support the families of the deceased security personnel, including those from the Nigeria Police, NSCDC, military, and other security agencies.

Governor Alia commended the sacrifices made by the fallen heroes for peace in the state and appreciated the efforts of President Bola Tinubu and the Service Chiefs in restoring peace. He emphasized the heavy burden of ensuring security and promised continued support for the families left behind.
