Gov Alia inaugurates Judicial panel to probe sale, lease of Benue assets

Governor Alia of Benue State has inaugurated a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to investigate the sale, lease, and management of state assets. The panel, led by retired Justice Samson Itodo, took oath at the Government House in Makurdi.

The Governor emphasized the importance of accountability and fairness in the review process, urging Justice Itodo to carry out the assignment with courage, integrity, and responsibility. Justice Itodo, in response, assured that the panel would diligently and transparently discharge its mandate.

The Governor highlighted the overall interest of the people of Benue in the investigation. This move comes as part of the government's efforts to ensure justice and proper management of state assets.
