Sokoto State Governor Aliyu visits the Sokoto Old Market after a fire razes over 50 shops, causing significant economic losses. The fire, which started around 10:00 AM, destroyed goods estimated at hundreds of millions of naira.

Governor Aliyu assures affected traders of government support and urges them to remain hopeful. The Sokoto State Fire Service and volunteers worked to contain the fire.
