Bauchi Governor Appoints Elder Brother as First Emir of Duguri in Alkaleri

Bauchi State Governor, Gov. Bala, has appointed his elder brother, Adamu Duguri, as the first Emir of Duguri in Alkaleri Local Government Area.

The appointment was confirmed on Friday, with the new Emir being granted first-class status. The Governor's team led by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) presented the appointment letter at the palace in Duguri.

The Emir, Adamu Duguri, expressed gratitude for the appointment. Additionally, the Governor signed a law on chieftaincy appointments, establishing 111 district heads across the state.
