Governor Umo Eno Prioritizes Completion of Key Projects

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State is committed to completing unfinished projects from previous administrations rather than initiating new ones. His approach marks a departure from traditional practices, emphasizing the importance of utilizing state resources efficiently.

Key projects include the Ibom International Airport, which was initiated by former Governor Victor Attah and further developed by Godswill Akpabio and Udom Emmanuel. Eno's administration has invested significantly in upgrading the airport's status and has also undertaken the reconstruction of the Ibom International Hotel and Convention Centre, which had been abandoned for ten years.

The hotel project, managed by Ratcon Construction Company, aims to redefine hospitality in the region. Eno's leadership style is characterized by a focus on unity and equity, ensuring that all local government areas benefit from democratic dividends.
