Fintiri Urges APC Unity Amid Primary Election Disputes

On Thursday, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State cautioned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against engaging in anti-party activities, particularly in light of disputes arising from recent primary elections. Fintiri's warning came just a week before the governorship, senatorial, and House of Representatives primaries, where perceived imposition of preferred candidates has led to disenchantment among party members.

He emphasized that such discontent could significantly contribute to the party's loss in the upcoming governorship elections. During a visit from the Adamawa APC executive led by Alhaji Hamza Madagali, Fintiri appealed for unity and commitment among party members to strengthen the APC's chances of securing victory in the 2027 elections.

He expressed confidence in defeating candidates from opposing parties in the general elections and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to promoting political stability across Adamawa State.
