Aliyu Abbati Advocates for Adamawa Central Senate Seat

Aliyu Abbati, a senatorial aspirant representing the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Adamawa Central zone, stated that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has the final say on party ticket selections. Speaking in Yola, Abbati expressed his belief that the APC will produce capable candidates who can win elections, emphasizing the need for party loyalty and respect for leadership.

He pointed out the significant underdevelopment in the Adamawa Central senatorial district, citing issues such as unemployment, weak infrastructure, and health system underfunding. Abbati aims to represent the district in the Senate, advocating for strategic connections to attract federal projects and improve local livelihoods.

He mentioned the importance of experience in leadership roles and the need for effective lobbying to support legislative initiatives. Abbati is currently contesting against Iya Abba for the senatorial seat and aims to bring development to the region, leveraging opportunities from the federal government under President Bola Tinubu's administration.
