Rivers State Governor Fubara Appoints Five Special Advisers in Cabinet Reshuffle

Rivers State Governor Fubara has appointed five special advisers, including two former commissioners, in a minor cabinet reshuffle. The appointments come after the redeployment of the Commissioner for Sports, Christoph Green.

Notable appointees include Prof. Peter Mede and Barr.

Eloka Tasi Amadi. The Speaker of the River State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhul, announced the new advisers who are expected to be sworn in on January 2, 2026, in Port Harcourt.
