Gov. Fubara Cancels ₦134 Billion Contract in Rivers State, Orders Refund

Governor Fubara of Rivers State has canceled a ₦134 billion contract awarded by IBAS for the reconstruction of the state secretariat complex in Port Harcourt. The State Executive Council directed the CCECC company to refund ₦20 billion mobilization fees already received.

Additionally, committees have been established to evaluate and recommend the construction of computer-based test centers across the state and to address flooding issues. Residents are cautioned against blocking drainage channels to prevent flooding.
