Governor Lawal Suspends Gusau Poly Rector for Misconduct

Governor Lawal has officially suspended Dr. Sirajo Abdullahi Shinkafi, the Rector of Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, citing gross administrative misconduct and insubordination.

The suspension was approved immediately by the state government, as stated in a communication signed by Mal. Abubakar M.

Nakwada, the Secretary to the State Government. The government has committed to implementing measures to ensure the smooth operation of the academic session and to maintain administrative procedures during this period.

Efforts to reach the suspended rector for comments were unsuccessful, and there was no indication of a timeline for filing a report regarding the suspension.
