Jigawa Governor Suspends Education Aide Amid APC Tensions

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State approved the indefinite suspension of Sule Musa, who served as the Special Assistant on Education Monitoring for Auyo Local Government Area. This decision was made effective immediately and was announced in a statement issued by Bala Ibrahim, the Secretary to the State Government.

The governor did not disclose the reasons for Musa's suspension. Additionally, another aide, previously suspended, was reinstated.

These developments occur amid political tensions within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, following recent party primaries that resulted in several political appointees, including special advisers and assistants, being suspended due to alleged anti-party activities across various local government areas.
