Delta Governor Oborevwori Reshuffles Cabinet After Resignations

Delta State Governor, Oborevwori, announced a cabinet reshuffle on Friday, following the resignation of two commissioners. The resignations were from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services, and Girl Child Development, previously held by Orod Uduaghan, and the Ministry of Youth Development, formerly led by Thankgod Trakiriowei.

The reshuffle was deemed necessary as the state prepares for the 2027 general elections. The announcement was made public through a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Work, Rural Roads, and Public Information, Charl Aniagwu, in Asaba.

Governor Oborevwori expressed gratitude to the former commissioners for their service and wished them success in their future endeavors. The new supervisory arrangements will take effect immediately, pending further announcements.
