Delta Governor Oborevwori Reshuffles Cabinet Amid Resignations

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State announced a minor cabinet reshuffle on Friday in Asaba, following the resignations of two commissioners, Orod Uduaghan and Thankgod Trakiriowei. Both commissioners resigned to pursue political ambitions in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Charl Aniagwu, the Commissioner for Information, confirmed the reshuffle in a statement. Pat Ajudua will now oversee the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support, and Girl Child Development, while Godknow Angel will supervise the Ministry of Youth Development.

The reshuffle takes immediate effect, and Governor Oborevwori expressed appreciation for the service of the resigning commissioners, wishing them success in their political pursuits. The new supervisory arrangements are pending further directives from the state government.
