Kogi Governor Ododo Announces Cabinet Reshuffle

On Thursday, Kogi State Governor Ahm Usman Ododo approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, which includes the appointment of Abdullahi Bello, the former chairman of the Progress Congress APC in the state, as a commissioner. This announcement was made in a statement issued from the Kogi State Government Secretariat by Folashad Arik Ayoad.

The reshuffle follows the resignation of Moham Yusuf from his commission work. Governor Ododo expressed appreciation for Yusuf's service to the state and wished him success in his future endeavors.

The reshuffle is part of the governor's efforts to reposition the state government, with Barrister Salami Ozigi Deedat being redeployed to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. The statement noted that the redeployment of portfolios would take immediate effect, signaling the administration's commitment to maintaining efficient governance.
