Otti Alleges Plot to Destabilize Abia Administration

On Friday, Abia State Governor Alex Otti disclosed a plot aimed at destabilizing his administration, revealing that certain political actors are allegedly sponsoring protests against his government. In a statement made by his special adviser on media and public affairs, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Otti indicated that intelligence reports suggest individuals are mobilizing miscreants from neighboring states, particularly Aba, to stage protests that would falsely portray the federal government's funding of projects under the current administration.

Otti reiterated his earlier clarifications regarding the discontinuation of federal refunds for projects and urged parents and guardians to advise their children and wards against participating in these politically motivated protests, which could jeopardize their safety. He assured residents of his commitment to maintaining peace and security, emphasizing that individuals should be free to pursue their political ambitions without fear of intimidation.
