The statement, released by Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, claims that certain political actors are mobilizing individuals, including suspected miscreants, to participate in the protests.

These protests reportedly feature controversial slogans and are believed to be politically motivated, intending to mislead the public regarding federal government funding for ongoing projects in Abia State. The government insists that these claims are false and emphasizes that it has already addressed issues related to federal reimbursements.
