Abia Governor Otti Welcomes 66 Politicians to Labour Party in Ukwa West LGA

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State welcomed 66 politicians, including prominent figures from various parties, into the Labour Party (LP) in Ukwa West Local Government Area. The area, traditionally a stronghold of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), saw a significant defection to the LP.

Among the defectors were former Deputy Speaker Adinigwe Ugochukwu Nwoke, former Secretary of Abia State Government Ngozi Ulunwa, and other grassroots politicians from PDP and APGA. Governor Otti expressed gratitude to the new members and urged more to join the LP, emphasizing his administration's commitment to restoring the dignity of the people of Abia.

He also announced plans for development projects in Ukwa West, demonstrating his focus on community development.
