Governor Sule Encourages Lafia Golf Club Revenue Growth

On Tuesday, during a ceremony to tee off the golf kitti organized to mark the 70th birthday of Emir Lafia, Justic Sidi Bage (Rtd) CFR, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule urged the Lafia Golf Club to develop revenue-generating initiatives. He highlighted the club's expansive land as a strategic asset capable of driving tourism and business investment in Nasarawa State.

Governor Sule reaffirmed his administration's support for golf and sports activities in the state, represented by Deputy Dr. Emmanuel Akab.

He described the Lafia Golf Course as one of the top 10 golf courses in Nigeria and encouraged the club's leadership to take advantage of the surrounding land to develop viable proposals for revenue generation. The governor commended the club's executive for organizing tournaments in honor of the Emir, whom he described as a symbol of discipline and exemplary leadership.

Toni Effa, the captain of the Lafia Golf Club, expressed appreciation for Governor Sule's consistent support.
