Governor Abba Yusuf Condemns Youth Indecency in Kano

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf publicly disowned the youths involved in an indecent act during the official visit of First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu. He described their behavior, which included exposing underwear, as disgraceful and unacceptable, emphasizing that it does not represent the cultural values and traditions of Kano State.

In a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary Mustapha Muhammad, Governor Yusuf made these remarks while speaking at a special prayer event held at the government house. He highlighted that the actions of the youths were a clear departure from the administration's agenda, which promotes modesty, discipline, and respect for authority.

The governor called on political actors to avoid inciting young people for selfish gains and warned that such behavior threatens the moral fabric of society. He urged the youths involved to seek forgiveness from the people of Kano for the embarrassment caused.
