Gov. Yusuf Unveils N1.36 Trillion Budget for 2026 in Kano, Emphasizing Development

Governor Yusuf of Kano presented a N1.36 trillion budget for 2026, emphasizing infrastructure, education, health, and human capital development. The budget includes N934.6 billion for capital expenditure and N433.4 billion for recurrent spending.

Key achievements from the 2025 budget include educational initiatives, health upgrades, and agricultural projects. The budget aims to fulfill campaign promises and complete ongoing projects, with a focus on urban renewal and housing schemes.

The Governor also expressed condolences for prominent individuals who passed away recently in Kano.
